From 16 September 2016, the Institute of Oceanography (Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology) – a member of IOC Viet Nam has joined the OceanDocs of IODE/IOC/UNESCO.

OceanDocs is supported by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) to collect, preserve and facilitate discovery and access to all research outputs from members of the ocean research and observation communities and specifically their Ocean Data and Information Networks (ODINS) of IODE/IOC. It is one of a number of complementary thematic digital marine and aquatic repositories including the Aquatic Commons, which is supported by the International Association of Aquatic and Marine Science Libraries and Information Centers (IAMSLIC) (http://www.oceandocs.org/).

OceanDocs is an open & free repository offered as global service to the marine and aquatic research communities. The Institute of Oceanography begins contributing and sharing the publication “Tuyển Tập Nghiên Cứu Biển – Collection of Marine Research Works” via OceanDocs and its publications in the period of 1927 – 1967 via Aquatic Commons/IAMSLIC & OceanDocs.
